Site Characterization Site Remediation
A busy retail store was discovered to be the site of below ground contamination, featuring chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs) and a petroleum hydrocarbon plume with residual LNAPL. Before remediation activities could be planned, a detailed conceptual site model (CSM) was needed to appropriately and cost effectively address the contaminants.
Cascade was brought in to provide high resolution site characterization (HRSC), well installation, and soil and groundwater sampling services before partnering with the client on remedy design and implementation.
